We’re kicking off Ice Cream Days 2025 with Chamber Coffee at the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor. Stop by for a cup of coffee, great conversation, and a sweet start to one of our favorite local traditions. It’s the perfect way to connect with the community and get excited for all the fun to come during Ice Cream Days. Hope to see you there!
Gather the family and enjoy some oversized fun with giant games during Ice Cream Days! It’s the perfect way to spend time together while enjoying the festival atmosphere. Try your hand at giant Jenga, challenge someone to a game of four-in-a-row, or outsmart your opponent in a round of jumbo checkers. Don’t miss the cherry toss game—a fun and festive nod to our favorite ice cream topping! There’s something for all ages, and plenty of laughs to go around.
Don’t miss the Tri-State Cruiser’s Car Show during the 2025 Ice Cream Days celebration—it’s a highlight of the week and a must-see for car lovers of all ages! Stroll through rows of classic muscle cars, vintage pickups, hot rods, street rods, custom builds, and restored antiques, all polished to perfection and ready to shine. Whether you’re into ’60s Camaros, sleek Corvettes, tricked-out trucks, or timeless Model A Fords, there’s something for everyone. It’s a great chance to chat with car owners, snap some photos, and enjoy the unique craftsmanship on display. Bring the whole family and take a cruise through automotive history!
There will be food available, including Kroozin' Kettle Corn, at the KC Hall and various local eateries.
Axe throwing is a fun and exciting activity at Ice Cream Days, giving festivalgoers a chance to test their aim and challenge their friends. Whether you're new to it or have some experience, it's a great way to try something different and add a little adventure to your day. Give it a throw and see if you can hit the target!

Join us for a rockin’ good time during the Tri-State Cruisers Car Show at Ice Cream Days with a live performance by The Jammers, a 6-piece band from Le Mars & Sioux City, playing the best mix of '50s & '60s music with a bit of '70s. They were 2018 inductees into the Midwest All Music Association Hall of Fame.
This talented group will bring the energy with classic hits and crowd favorites, making it the perfect soundtrack as you stroll through rows of vintage cars and custom rides. Bring a lawn chair, tap your toes, and enjoy an evening of great music, cool cars, and community fun!

Gather your family and friends for the Family Bike Ride during Ice Cream Days in Le Mars! This all-ages event invites cyclists of every skill level to enjoy a leisurely ride together, promoting health, fun, and community spirit. Or, for the daring type, challenge yourself on the 15-mile Ice Cream Adventure Route through the winding Plymouth County Trails up to the Wells Enterprises Headquarters.
It's a wonderful opportunity to explore the town on two wheels, create lasting memories, and kick off the festivities in an active way. Don't forget to bring your helmets and enthusiasm!

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening of live music from the Municipal Band. While you’re there, cool off with frozen treats provided by Blue Bunny—a sweet way to celebrate community and summer fun during Ice Cream Days!
This humorous play reimagines the classic fairy tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears as a courtroom drama. In this version, Goldilocks is put on trial for breaking and entering the Bear family’s home, eating their porridge, breaking Baby Bear’s chair, and sleeping in their beds. The story unfolds through courtroom testimonies, cross-examinations, and clever arguments from both the defense and the prosecution, with familiar fairy tale characters taking the witness stand. The play blends comedy and suspense as the audience is left to decide whether Goldilocks is guilty or simply misunderstood.

Get ready for high-speed fun at our Drive-In Movie Night at Total Motors during Ice Cream Days! We're showing Turbo, a heartwarming and action-packed animated movie about a garden snail who dreams of becoming the fastest racer in the world. After a freak accident gives him incredible speed, Turbo sets out to prove that no dream is too big—and no dreamer too small. With vibrant animation, lovable characters, and an inspiring underdog story, Turbo is a perfect movie for the whole family. So bring your crew, grab some ice cream, and enjoy a night of laughs and excitement under the stars!

While shopping, eating, or simply enjoying one of the many events in downtown Le Mars, participate in a family-friendly, self-paced scavenger hunt showcasing the unique restaurants, services, and retail stores in downtown Le Mars. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheets at any participating merchant including the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor, and Habitué Coffeehouse & Bakery. Return your completed sheets to the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor by 2:00 pm Saturday when all correct sheets will be entered in a prize drawing. The winner will be announced Saturday at 2:30 pm on the Olson Cultural Events Center stage.

Inventor & time traveler Brock Barnabas is coming to visit the present time! He’s on a mission to recruit some adventurous kids to travel back to the Medieval times where he needs your help to deal with an overpopulation of dragons! Kids are trained to both defend against and tame down dragons using Brock's amazing science-based inventions and techniques. This is a roaring and fiery adventure you don’t want to miss!

We’re teaming up with Engage Le Mars to bring you an unforgettable Friday night concert during Ice Cream Days, featuring the high-energy sounds of Arch Allies! A TIMELESS TRIBUTE centered
around making classic rock sing-alongs with dynamic vocals, huge guitars, dashing keyboards and powerful drums. This show is MAKING WAVES as the NATIONAL TOURING TRIBUTE show in North America. Arch Allies has performed from hundreds to thousands of miles away with performances for everything from event entertainment, fairs and festivals and spaces around the country. The Ultimate Six Pack of Rock Tribute Show! Hits of Bon Jovi, Journey, Styx, REO, Boston, Def Leppard and a chaser.

Our Frozen Fun Run is part of the 4-day Ice Cream Days event in Le Mars, IA. Stay after the race for awards, post-race snacks and more Ice Cream Days fun- like the parade that starts at 9:30 AM just a block away from the finish line! Be on the lookout for volunteers handing out FREE Bomb Pops along the race route!

Fees: $30 if registered by May 25. $35 from May 26 – June 20. $40 day of registration fee.
T-shirt or Tank Tops: can be added to your registration for an additional $10. MUST REGISTER BY June 2nd to add a shirt! Shirts are NOT included with registration, you must choose to add it.

- The 5K chip-time, out-and-back race will start & finish at the Olsen Cultural Event Center in downtown Le Mars. The route winds through a residential neighborhood & onto a paved trail.
- Streets will not be closed. Volunteers will be assisting with directing traffic.
- Ear buds & headphones are not recommended. Use at your own risk.
- Young kids must run with a responsible adult (for 5K).
- No dogs.
- No refunds given due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Day of registrations will be accepted, but swag is not guaranteed.
- Stay after the race for awards: 1st-3rd place overall & for all age divisions.

This humorous play reimagines the classic fairy tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears as a courtroom drama. In this version, Goldilocks is put on trial for breaking and entering the Bear family’s home, eating their porridge, breaking Baby Bear’s chair, and sleeping in their beds. The story unfolds through courtroom testimonies, cross-examinations, and clever arguments from both the defense and the prosecution, with familiar fairy tale characters taking the witness stand. The play blends comedy and suspense as the audience is left to decide whether Goldilocks is guilty or simply misunderstood.
