Explore our event schedule for the 2022 Ice Cream Days celebration in Le Mars, IA. Whether you’re looking to join in on all the fun-filled family activities, stroll among the variety of vendors, or see how much ice cream you can consume (maybe all of the above), you'll see how we celebrate sweet firsthand.

Come browse a wide variety of cars! Featuring antiques, classics, customs, streetrods, corvettes, ratrods, street machines, muscle cars, shoeboxes, low-riders, pro-streets, hoppers, tuners, trucks, and more. As the Tri-State Cruisers say, "If it's a classic to you, it's a classic to us!" Also featuring food vendors.

Grab a chair or blanket and bring the whole family to Foster Park for a free concert from the Municipal Band. The Kiwanis & Aktion Club will be on site handing out free Blue Bunny treats.

Kick off Ice Cream Days at the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor with food, refreshments, and of course, ICE CREAM!

Explore Plymouth County at the Plymouth County Historical Museum and do so with a fresh-made root beer float!

The Browns Century Music Theater presents, “Oh, My Iowa!” An original musical tribute to all things Iowa. The Browns bring to life the songs and stories of the heartland. You’ll hear highlights from hit Broadway musicals like, “The Music Man” and “State Fair”. Learn about the Iowa musical ties to such a great as Andy Williams, Antonin Dvořak, Glenn Miller Orchestra, and Al Jarreau. The Brown brothers will have you convinced you’re listening to Iowa‘s favorite 50s radio sensations the Everly Brothers as well as songs from Buddy Holly and Frank Sinatra. Listen to the stories behind songs like, “Church in the Wildwood” and their family harmony on “The Little Brown Church in the Vale” and “Brighten The Corner Where You Are”. You’ll want to cheer for the rousing renditions of the “Iowa Corn Song” and “Sioux City Sue”

How do all these songs have ties in the great corn state? Come find out all the answers as The Browns share the stories and sing the songs of the heartland in their production of, “Oh, My Iowa!” For tickets, click here.

While shopping, eating or simply enjoying one of the many events in downtown Le Mars, participate in a family-friendly, self-paced scavenger hunt showcasing downtown buildings and locations significant in Le Mars history. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheets at the Wells Visitor Center, Chamber of Commerce, City Hall or Visitor’s Bureau. Return your completed sheets to the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor by 2:00 pm Saturday when all correct sheets will be entered in a prize drawing. The winner will be announced at 4:00 pm Saturday at the Olson Cultural Event Center. The Downtown Scavenger Hunt is one of the projects created by the students in the Youth on Main Street program.

Tour the downtown alleys to view family-friendly artwork and historic murals. The public art project is coordinated by the Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce Main Street program. Artwork is installed on 42 buildings in 9 alleys. Brochures are available at the Chamber of Commerce, City Hall and the Visitor’s Bureau. The Le Mars Arts Center is excited to feature local watermedia artists in our upcoming exhibit: LOCAL WATERS. All participating artists are native to Iowa, and were selected by invitation only. A Public Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, June 16 from 4:30-6:30pm at the Le Mars Arts Center. Refreshments will be served, and artists will be in attendance. The exhibition will be on display from June 14-July 30, and is free to view.

Starts at Olson Cultural Events Center and ends at Primebank in time for the Primebank Ice Cream Social.

Join Good Samaritan Society - Le Mars as they host their 15th annual Smile Contest! Ages 4-7 can begin registering 2:00-2:30 pm. Judging will begin at 2:30 pm with an ice cream social for residents, participants, and family members immediately following the announcement of the winners. Prizes for all participants.

Hosted by the Le Mars Public Library. Featuring the juggling and comedy of Jason Kollum at 2:30pm and interactive bubble stations at 3:30pm. Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended.

Ahead of the Omaha Circus Arts show, stop in front of the Olson Cultural Events Center for a FREE pony ride from Pixie's Pony Tales.

Get in the circus spirit ahead of Friday evening's main stage entertainment by viewing and interacting with various street performers from Omaha Circus Arts!

Nationally recognized performers from Omaha, NE, Omaha Circus Arts brings a custom, ice-cream themed show that is sure to dazzle and entertain! This is a free show the family won't want to miss.

The parade begins at 8th St and Central Ave at 10am and concludes at 1st St NE and Central Ave. See you there!

Local dancers hailing from The Turn Around dance school will entertain and get all in the mood for some ice cream and movement!

Local dancers from Central Dance Academy take the main stage to bring you this one-of-a-kind performance.

This show will leave all ages feeling like a kid again. Watch our exciting, educational show that will take ordinary bubbles into the realm of extreme and learn the science behind it all!

Dressed in an antique conductor's uniform, Dr. Rudy Daniels, internationally known author and expert on railroads will discuss the railroads of Iowa.

Known as the Midwest's "Super Conductor" he will answer any questions about trains and railroading.

LeMars Community Theatre is excited to return for another Youth Theatre Workshop. This year they’ll present a one-act play, entitled The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! The Browns are bringing their talent to the outdoor Olson Cultural Events Center stage with a FREE show to close out the festival. This is one performance you don't want to miss!
