Don’t miss the Tri-State Cruiser’s Car Show during the 2026 Ice Cream Days celebration—it’s a highlight of the week and a must-see for car lovers of all ages! Stroll through rows of classic muscle cars, vintage pickups, hot rods, street rods, custom builds, and restored antiques, all polished to perfection and ready to shine. Whether you’re into ’60s Camaros, sleek Corvettes, tricked-out trucks, or timeless Model A Fords, there’s something for everyone. It’s a great chance to chat with car owners, snap some photos, and enjoy the unique craftsmanship on display. Bring the whole family and take a cruise through automotive history!

Gather your family and friends for the Family Bike Ride during Ice Cream Days in Le Mars! This all-ages event invites cyclists of every skill level to enjoy a leisurely ride together, promoting health, fun, and community spirit. Or, for the daring type, challenge yourself on the 15-mile Ice Cream Adventure Route through the winding Plymouth County Trails up to the Wells Enterprises Headquarters.

It's a wonderful opportunity to explore the town on two wheels, create lasting memories, and kick off the festivities in an active way. Don't forget to bring your helmets and enthusiasm!

That’s Not How I Remember It by Don Zolidis is a hilarious throwback to the totally rad 1980s. When Mom and Dad tell their kids the story of how they met in 1986, they quickly discover that each parent remembers the romance very differently. As their conflicting versions play out on stage, the audience is treated to a fast-paced parody of classic 80s movie tropes, big personalities, and questionable memories. This fun one-act comedy shows that the past isn’t always remembered the same way by everyone.

Get ready for high-speed fun at our Drive-In Movie Night at Total Motors during Ice Cream Days! We're showing Hoppers, a fun, adventurous animated film about curiosity, technology, and the hidden world of animals. Animal lover Mabel uses a groundbreaking new invention that allows human consciousness to “hop” into lifelike robotic animals, giving her the ability to communicate with wildlife like never before. When she hops into the world of beavers, Mabel discovers a complex animal society filled with surprises, secrets, and challenges she never expected. As she explores this new perspective on nature, Mabel learns that understanding animals might be more complicated—and more exciting—than she ever imagined.

While shopping, eating, or simply enjoying one of the many events in downtown Le Mars, participate in a family-friendly, self-paced scavenger hunt showcasing the unique restaurants, services, and retail stores in downtown Le Mars. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheets at any participating merchant including the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor, and Habitué Coffeehouse & Bakery. Return your completed sheets to the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor by 2:00 pm Saturday when all correct sheets will be entered in a prize drawing. The winner will be announced Saturday at 2:30 pm on the Olson Cultural Events Center stage.

Add a colorful twist to Ice Cream Days with our rock painting event for kids! Young artists are invited to paint their own unique rocks inspired by all things sweet—think ice cream cones, sprinkles, and bright summer fun.

Participants can choose to take their masterpiece home, gift it to a friend, or leave it behind to brighten our community. With help from the Stanton Lucky Clovers 4-H Club, painted rocks will be placed in rock beds around town, creating a fun and lasting display of creativity for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you keep your rock or share it, you’ll be adding a little extra sweetness to Ice Cream Days!

Bring the kiddos out for some extra fun at Ice Cream Days with one-of-a-kind face painting designs they'll love! The Frozen Fun Run 5K is part of the 4-day Ice Cream Days event in Le Mars, IA. Stay after the race for awards & more Ice Cream Days fun. The parade begins at 9:30 AM with a full day of festivities to follow all within a block of the finish line!

Location: Olsen Cultural Event Center (33 First Ave NE Le Mars, IA 51031) / Knights of Columbus Hall (KC Hall)

Fees: $30 if registered by May 25. $35 from May 26 – June 20. $40 day of registration fee. (Price + mandatory charges, items, and fees.)

T-shirt or Tank Tops: can be added to your registration for an additional $12. MUST REGISTER BY June 1st to add a shirt! Shirts are NOT included with registration, you must choose to add it.

The 5K chip-time, out-and-back race will start & finish at the Olsen Cultural Event Center in downtown Le Mars. The route winds through a residential neighborhood & onto a paved trail.
Streets will not be closed. Volunteers will be assisting with directing traffic.
Ear buds & headphones are not recommended. Use at your own risk.
Young kids must run with a responsible adult (for 5K).
No dogs.
No refunds given due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Day of registrations will be accepted, but swag is not guaranteed.
Stay after the race for awards: 1st-3rd place overall & for all age divisions.
