Kick-off Ice Cream Days at the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor with food, coffee, and of course, ICE CREAM!
Back by request, The Browns will be performing their Born Country Show during Ice Cream Days in Le Mars, IA! 4 shows to choose from. Classic country hits like “Thank God I’m a Country boy”, “Love Can Build a Bridge”, Fiddle favorites like “Orange Blossom Special”, and the “Tennessee Waltz”.
Along with many other country music songs that pay tribute to our Country roots!
This a paid ticket event. You can get your tickets here.
Have some fun and partake in a number of giant games, including Jenga, four-in-a-row, checkers, hula hoops, and even a cherry toss game!
It feels like lumberjack weather in June. So put on your best flannel, grow that mustache, practice your tree-cutting skills, and join us in downtown Le Mars for some fun axe-throwing with your friends!
Come browse a wide variety of cars! Featuring antiques, classics, customs, street rods, corvettes, rat rods, street machines, muscle cars, shoeboxes, low-riders, pro-streets, hoppers, tuners, trucks, and more. As the Tri-State Cruisers say, "If it's a classic to you, it's a classic to us!"
It features live music from Janice Hill & the Collective on the Olson Cultural Events Center stage.
Also featuring food vendors.
Stop by to see some beautiful cars and listen to some great music by Janice Hill & the Collective.
Grab a chair or blanket and bring the whole family to Foster Park for a free concert from the Municipal Band. The Kiwanis & Aktion Club will be on site handing out free Blue Bunny treats.

Let's get outside and ride! Bring your family and friends as we get outside and pedal together.
There are two different routes that can be taken this year:
- Family Fun Route – 4.5 miles from Olson Cultural Events Center, out around the Willow Creek Golf Course and then head back to the Primebank Ice Cream Social to scoop up a sweet sundae!
- Ice Cream Adventure Route – 15 miles from Olson Cultural Events Center, through the winding Plymouth County Trails and out to Wells Enterprises Headquarters. Snag a sweet picture to commemorate, then head back to the Primebank Ice Cream Social to scoop up a sweet sundae!

**Guides will be on both routes. Ride at your own risk. Safety First – wear your helmet. Water will be available periodically, but bringing your own is encouraged**
Family tradition awaits at Le Mars's original drive-in theater location. Enjoy a family-friendly movie from lawn chairs and blankets or drive-in like the old days! This year's movie is The Super Mario Bros. movie. You can watch the trailer here.
While shopping, eating, or simply enjoying one of the many events in downtown Le Mars, participate in a family-friendly, self-paced scavenger hunt showcasing the unique restaurants, services, and retail stores in downtown Le Mars. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheets at any participating merchant including the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor, and Habitué Coffeehouse & Bakery. Return your completed sheets to the Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor by 2:00 pm Saturday when all correct sheets will be entered in a prize drawing. The winner will be announced Saturday at 2:30 pm on the Olson Cultural Events Center stage.
Hosted by the Le Mars Public Library. Bring the kids down and enjoy an afternoon of fun kids’ crafts, books, a juggler and balloon twister, and of course FREE ICE CREAM!
Enjoy the best Midwest Rides has to offer! From adult to kid carnival rides, you're sure to find one for your thrill level. This year will have more fun rides to enjoy. A ticket purchase is required to ride.
Every little one loves a pony ride. Bring your little ones down to Olson Cultural Events Center for a free pony ride. Don't miss visiting with the fuzzy bunnies right next to it!
Get a FREE face painting in a design of your choice to add to the fun!
Watch balloon artists create fun and festive animals (and maybe even ice cream!) before your eyes.

This year's Summer Fun Run is loaded with awesome new things, such as different SWAG & a new KID'S DASH!
Come early for all the fun activities happening at the Olson Cultural Event Center and stay after the race for awards, post-race snacks and more Ice Cream Days fun. The streets will not be closed. Volunteers will be assisting with directing traffic. Young kids must run with a responsible adult (for 5K). No dogs or animals. Runners & walkers can check in or register on Friday, June 14, from 5:00-6:00 PM at the KC Hall (120 1st Ave NE, Le Mars, IA 51031).
Must register by May 19, 2024 for SWAG items. Registration is open!

Our Glow Foam Blower is fun for any age, especially the little ones. Join us as we fill the street with foam and have a huge party!
The parade begins at 8th St and Central Ave at 9:00 am and concludes at 2nd St NE and Central Ave. See you there!

Local dancers hailing from The Turn Around dance school will entertain and get all in the mood for some ice cream and movement!
Local dancers from Central Dance Academy take the main stage to bring you this one-of-a-kind performance.
This show will leave all ages feeling like a kid again. Watch our exciting, educational show that will take ordinary bubbles into the realm of extreme and learn the science behind it all!
