Parade Application

Everyone loves a parade, especially with ice cream!

The Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce is now taking applications for the 2026 Ice Cream Days Parade. The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, with line-up starting at 7:00 a.m. on 8th St.  Detailed information, including your line-up number, will be emailed to you by Friday, June 12th. 

Entry Fee Information: Parade entry fees are used to enhance the entries and quality of the parade. Invoices will be sent out in late May.

*Platinum and Stakeholder Chamber Memberships include parade entry fee.

  • $25 Participation Fee- Chamber Members
  • $35 Participation Fee- Non-Chamber Members

Entries received after Friday, June 5 will not be accepted, due to parade preparation.

Parade Details

The parade route will line-up on Eighth St, (Boulevard). 

The Parade will travel along Central Avenue starting at Eighth Street and end at Baacker’s Sports Bar located on 2nd St NW. Once at 2nd St. NW, you are finished and no longer in the parade. Please exercise caution as you get back to the original starting location to unload or to wherever you will be parking your vehicle. 

Items for children: 

To enhance the safety of everyone along the parade route; the Chamber is requesting all parade entrants who plan on handing out candy follow the Parade rules that will be sent upon confirmation of your submission. 

Theme: 

Ice cream-themed entries are strongly encouraged for this celebration. 

Use of American flag: 

If you are displaying the American Flag on your entry please note the following: The American Flag has very specific rules for display. Please click here to make sure you show proper respect for the flag and what it stands for.

If payment is not received by Friday, June 6, you will not be permitted to participate in the parade.
